Teaching high school is a great passion of mine and one of my priorities is to be constantly developing and growing in my role as an educator. For me, this means being conscious of and intentional about the ways that I affect change as a teacher, as well as the ways change is affected in me. In order to facilitate this intentionality in my development, I have maintained an informal blog, Pencils, Post-Its, and Patience, since early 2015. I use this blog to reflect, chronicle, and share the ways this calling seeps into the different aspects of my academic, professional, and personal life.
